Let me introduce myself.
My name is Jerilyn (pronounced jerry-lynn). The most accurate depiction of my personality is an old soul stuck in a 20 year old body.
I am a writer with the passion to reach a world full of hurt, pain, and heartache with a message of healing, grace, and redemption. I have the mission to encourage others to pursue godly strength and love through the highs, lows, and in-betweens that life tends to bring. I hope to not only encourage, but also to inspire others to seek their God-given purpose of serving Him wholeheartedly. My mission is to pursue and project a godly life in hopes to hear, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
My heart is extraverted, but my demeanor may say otherwise—I hear this rather often. I love to travel, sing, and write to my heart’s content. I thrive off chasing sunsets and laughing with friends. I hold on to just about everything sentimental—mostly through the thousands of pictures I take in a month’s time.
In my spare time you can typically find me at a coffee shop with a good book or journal. I do not begin the day without a cup of coffee—or end it without a cup for that matter! I love to have meaningful conversations, even with complete strangers. I am just a broken person that is leaning on the grace of my Sweet Jesus.
